Welcome to Poetix.

Poetix is a non-linear narrative design platform that allows users to create branching stories using a visual editor, collaborate with others, and publish interactive stories that readers can play on the web.

By using Poetix, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Your Account

To use certain features, you must create an account.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Keep your login credentials secure
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account

You may delete your account at any time.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Your Content

Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you create in Poetix, including:

  • Stories and their narrative content
  • Scenes, beats, and branching paths
  • Characters and story variables

License to Poetix

To operate the service, you grant Poetix a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, display, and publish your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the service.

We do not claim ownership of your content.

Public Content

If you choose to publish or share your content publicly, you understand that:

  • It may be viewed and played by other users
  • It may be shared via links
  • It may be featured within the platform

You can control whether your content is public or private.

4. Collaboration

Poetix allows you to collaborate with others on stories.

  • You control who you invite
  • Collaborators may view or edit based on permissions
  • You are responsible for managing access

Poetix is not responsible for disputes between collaborators.

5. Reading and Sharing Content

Poetix allows users to read and play interactive stories published by others.

By using the platform, you agree:

  • Not to copy, reproduce, or redistribute others' content without permission
  • To respect the rights of creators

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Poetix to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Upload or publish content you do not have rights to
  • Share harmful, abusive, hateful, or illegal content
  • Distribute malware or malicious code
  • Exploit or interfere with the platform

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

All rights to the Poetix platform are owned by us, including:

  • Branding
  • Platform features and systems

You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without permission.
